L76 vs L98 Sportswagon

Hi,
im looking to buy a V8 sportswagon but am not sure about the difference between the L76 and L98.
I am after an auto around 2008 to 2010 year.
Is there much difference between SS and calais?
What are the performance differences between the L76 and L98?
What engine is the best for tuning? eg flash tune, exhaust, cam, etc.

L98 for tunning IMO

As said, L98 for tuning, but they are both good.

L98 cheaper for cam upgrades, and FI.
But if your not going down that path then L76 if fine for everything else.

Both are good. But if you get bitten by the mod bug your wallet will thank you if you get an L98 lol

yeah most shops are around 1000-1200 to remove the dod.... l98 all the way brother! they get good enough economy on the highway anyways.
