Hey Fellas,

I'm no electronics expert, however I am handy with automotive electrical and a soldering iron.
I was recently helping my brother install some led tail/brake lights in his VX Sedan. Upon changing the globes,
globe failure warning light came up on the dash. Even after installing 25watt resistors, the warning light still comes on.

Any of you legends have any thoughts on this?

Could it be the cheap Ebay globes even though they say CANBUS Compatible?

The best fix is to remove the cheap LEDs and install standard filament bulbs in the tail lights.

Led Headlights I can understand.
But tail lights?

Get him a couple of t10 leds and replace the rear number plate bulbs. That should be enough for the arse end.
