I recently got a replacement SS VZ Headlight as the old one melted after doing the high beam low beam MOD and now I want some LED globes to fit the new headlights. I understand these should run cooler than halogens.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good set of globes?

Nighteye for the LED.
You need to change the dust caps as they won’t fit behind standard ones.
There are 3D printed dust caps for VZ SS that me and the seller developed.

Phillips have also put out a new LED bulb that is a direct swap, no fan required, and so fit behind a regular dust cap.

Ooooo that's cool. I've got JW speakers in mine currently. When the eventually die I'll try a set of them, the old Phillips I had in there prior were decent.

These are new to the market and the great thing is that the fan is compact and doesn’t project much more than a stock H11 or H9 would.

Keeps the light source positioned exactly where the filament in a halogen.

There is far less wayward light from the headlight than with Halogen.
Each bulb is 20W to match/similar to the 55W Halogen. Similar to how we see household LED bulbs sold in Hammerbarn.

No driver required. Just plug and play.

The halogen H9 draws more current for high beam. H11 for low beam. These are uniformly 20w, so H11 and H9 interchange fine. Amp draw is far less than factory halogens.

I found a better seller of the bulbs. On Amazon they are only $75.
