lights problems

tonight i got in my car and had no dash light or parkers or tail lights.
fuses seem to be okay i think as it was too dark to check properly
any ideas

ihave now checked and replaced all fuses and relays and it either blws the dash light fuse or the parker and tailight or both sttill??????
checked and swaped the light switch with a known working one.
All to no avail
Any ideas??????

It could be the "light" fuse under the bonnet. Check that as it would be rare for all of them to blow at the same time.

Also, check if there on!! :D

opps, posted b4 l did :D.

I suggest driving it down to a auto electrician, sounds like it could be one of those wierd problems.

you have a short on your wiring loom which is shorting out to active thus creating a surge in your lighting side and blowing fuses/ overloading relays

All is well again the auto elect fixed the problem.
it seem some a*hole has tried to break in or steal it buy cutting some alarm wires and they were shorting out.
