Looking for a worked 3.8 litre v6 for my ute

I have a VG ute that needs a new engine what I am looking for is a worked engine to buy.
I remember reading somewhere about a stroked holdenv v6.
Can anyone help me with any info on where to get and what is available in brisbane.

id hit up your local engine rebuilders. if you supply them you old one than you dont have to mess around changing your engine number for reg and insurance... hopefully someone from brizzy will chime in...
