Had the same problems with my old VX. It kept loosing water but had no idea where from. I did a pressure test of the coolant system when the engine was dead cold one day and when I was just about to give up noticed water dripping onto the concrete. Traced the source to the LIM. Fortunately the leak was out of the engine not inside. The reasons I couldn't find the leak was that it was evaporating when it was leaking onto the manifold.
