I’m losing coolant plus a white chalky substance under the hood looks like spraying out from somewhere
Does anyone have any advice on what this would be before taking it to the mechanic??

Most common place to leak coolant is from the inlet housing on front of motor

If it’s under the bonnet (not ‘hood’ sorry..) the radiator cap might be stuffed

Would be from where it bolts into the heads which is under the inlet manifold

I looked at it this morning
I can see spray around the bottom passenger side so could be a hose
Couldn’t see anything around the water pump that was noticeable
