Is the car locked ???
If not brake in or get RACQ or what ever ur road side assistance is to open it

take the drivers door trim off and remove the DRIVERS door ( has to be drivers door) handle and get the lock out, take that to a lock smiths, it has a code on the side of it, a lock smith will be able to get onto data base and get ur key info to cut a new one

Not sure, I have had a few key problems, once my key was worn down so far it wouldn't work any more, another time my barrel was stuffed, another my mate lost the keys to his bus on the beach, my old cruiser us to start with a screw driver and work mate moved into bosses drive way and turned it right back to steering lock

every time I have just takin the drivers door lock out it's always the drivers door lock regardless of make or model

Take that in and a new key or barrel can be cut

possible holden can do it but I don't think they will want to give out the info other wise people would just get a vehicles vin number and get a key cut for it and simply drive off with it

Go to Holden with proof of ownership (rego/insurance papers) and the VIN number.

You can get the key code from their computer and then get a key cut.

Rough approximations:

$54 for remote
$80 for reprogram
$50 to recut
$50 for information download from Holden.

Plus, that's a 2 button remote so if you own a sedan, no boot unlock

I would just go and ask the lock smith first, and ask holden if they will give you or the lock smith the Code, if it was that easy to get the code from holden then that's how the lock smith would do it but every time I have had to get the door lock out for the code, I could be wrong though holden might give u the code. U can only try

Maybe the lock smith told me to get the lock out to save that $50 download fee
