Lost Key

Hi, I have been building my VH for the last 8 years, and we are currently rewiring the engine harness, and for the life of me can’t find the original key. I have a complete new set of keys, as was already changing them as doors had solex keys. Anyone have any idea how to turn the barrel to accessories to replace it?

Unbolt the column. If it's like a Gen II you can undo the barrel from the column by undoing the bolts that attach the bracket to the column.

Can't unbolt the ignition switch from the coffee pot on the early girls....

The coffee pot can be changed over, but changing the switch, I have no idea how to do it without the key...

An old school crims favourite tool. You attach the tip which has a screw to the rod which you screw into the key hole on the ignition barrel then use the slide weight to remove the lock barrel but only do this if all else fails
