Louder Turbo Whistle

Before i went to 3 inch straight through i had 3 inch but with a muffler. Slightly quieter (duh ) but i still got a decent amount of noise coming through the snorkel.

A pyro gauge is used to measure (in this case) exhaust temperatures (EGT), with TD and mine being aftermarket turbo the temperature of the exhaust tells alot to the status of the motor. Anything over a constant 550*C will see pistons start to melt.

I run boost and EGT on a pillar mounted pod so i can have quick vision of what it's doing at all times.

Hey guys,

Does anyone how to make the whistle of the turbo louder? (Turbo Diesel).

Reason I ask, today I drove a 2011 Mitsubishi Triton Turbo Diesel, everytime I let go of the accelerator I could hear the turbo and I liked the sound of it.

Any suggestions?

^Heh, I was thinking the same thing. My old Mitsi VR4 twin turbo used to screech like a banshee, I suspect a previous owner had run it out of oil.
