Lowering a Stato drivers seat

How do I lower my new Stato seat? I have pulled the manual side thing with no luck. Not sure if I am doing it right or not?

Problem solved, it turns out you need the seat at least a few inches forward in a ute, as the back rest hits the body preventing the lever from being able to take the seat back, while simultaneously lowering the base.
