Try GV Front End Specialists in Shep. A few years ago when I had my VZ SV6 lowered, I went to Pedders in Shep and walked straight out after they told me the price for just four springs and installation. I then went round to GVFES and they were about half the price. (I have a memory like a goldfish and can't remeber exact prices). Just a thought.

Mate i would'nt use king/peddars or Lovells , pay a little extra and get either H&R springs or eibach .
Remember the VE has a very stiff shell and the wrong sort of spring will give you a crap ride and handle poorly.

i had pedders lower my International about 4 months ago, couldnt be happier. (they've done previous work on my other car too)
dont listen to the "pedders are dodgy" arguement..... like everything else with car parts, its more about the local dealer and less about the name on the door.
fyi, I had sportsryder springs installed for just over $600... but then I live in canberra so there's more competition. as you live in a smaller town unless you are prepared to drive into the big smoke you pretty much have to pay a higher price. I used to live in Port Macquarie so I've experienced small town markup before. suspension can be funny, so i'd suggest you stick with the local guy. sometimes you get clicking or wheel alignment isnt quite right and you need to go back and get stuffed sorted. if the guy is local, that $100 or so you save going further away quickly becomes a pain in the bum.

you got a sedan or wagon? click link below to see my ride height. these pics were taken a few days after suspension went in, and car has since settled a tad lower. also, the rear suspension was changed to one step higher. the VE has a slight rake to the suspension setup (front appears to dip lower than the rear). depending on your tastes, you need to make sure you are very clear with what you want from the new suspension height. for instance in the wagon, its very popular to have the rear squat more and have the car sit more level.... but for me I wanted to retain the same rake and have both front and rear wheels line up perfectly with the arches. I've seen some pedders installs have the rear wheels tuck in a little more- and from what I understand, this is the typical install. just do your homework and make sure the installer is clear on what you want. i havent done so, but if you want I can show updated pics with what ride height looks like now.... it's perfect in my opinion :).

I Don't think there no good, i just think the ride quality will be much better with something like H&R or Eibach having used different brands over the years . I suppose it is one of the things that comes done to personal preference.
