Have a VY V6 c/w LPG Tartarini Injected Gas is due first for its first service 20-25,000 k's

Anybody have an Idea of whats involved in the service, and what's the likely cost?

I assume they will check for leaks replace the spin on oil type gas filter.

Is fuel map re-checked as standard practice, and seals replaced?

Still getting exceptional fuel economy, latest was 71.50 lt's @ $24.23 receiving 680klm normally get 640-700. Have recently changed from castrol edge to Nulon full synthetic 10W40 with suprising results.

Cheers

Yes, they pretty much check for leaks, and they re-tune it with the pipe up the arse trick (mixtures). Do the injected have a gas filter ? Interesting.

All injected gas cars have gas filters before the vaporiser. It should only cost ~$50 - $100 to have it done, check for leaks, replace filter and check (and touchup if needed) tune. Shouldn't take more than an hour to do either.

I'm not sure, i know they're required on the injector kits to stop gunk clogging the injectors.

no they are not required as the miex feeds through the throttle and intake etc.

thanks for the heads up!

Just on the filter, looks like a black ryco Z386 oil filter , which sits before the vaporiser like danielsan mentioned.

Getting 650 to 700 ks per tank but I think I might request the fuel map to be changed, as I want more take off power.

Cheers

There are two types of LPG conversion.

1. Single-point including venturi and air-valve systems.

2. Multi-point including gas injection and liquid injection systems.

The injected systems do have a gas filter, but that lasts for well over a year's worth of driving normally. After a year's driving, your regulator will have well and truly settled in so a retune will more often than not improve things such as idle smoothness.

On mixer-based systems, a retune every year is almost mandatory.

Regards,
Dave
