What have people done with the heater box etc under dash unit, part under cowl and unit under bonnet on firewall? I’ve seen ones with out everything and wondered how it get road worthy/engineered etc?? Thanks in advance!

I haven't done one to know, but just so you're aware there are two different blower fan locations. The AC version has the blower fan in the AC box under/behind the glovebox. Whereas the non AC version has the fan in top section of the heater box where it takes in air from under the cowl.
