So the 100cpi would let the gases escape more quicker creating more HP

FYI legal is 200cpi
i wouldnt say they create more HP....the engine will.....i think u meant to say a 100cpi cat will restrict less hp than a standard cat.
ive never seen a strip car running 100cpi cats to create more HP....you?

Ummm...that's exactly what he said. The 100cpsi cats would let the gases escape more quicker creating more HP So the faster flowing exhaust creates more HP, which it does.

A strip car doesn't run cats, so your argument is invalid.

Finally got the extractors, and some 200 cell cats on the crewman.... It has made a HUGE difference to power across the whole rev range... like the cork is outa its aarrse......Buttttt !!!! now drones like a moaning biach AAARRRRRRRR!!!!! from 1300 to 1900 rpm.... So spent too many hours on all sorts of forums... and found out about " J PIPES " had a set made up, and fitted today.... drone is gone..... looks weird as, but works..... google it.....very interesting, easy fix for drone.... need to pinpoint exact Hz frequency to perfect......
