ls1 manifold to ls2

Hi guys, I'm looking at putting a ls2 manifold on a ls1 just wondering is there any modifications needed or will it bolt straight up just like the ls1, is there any hoses needed changing or removal etc any help would be appreciated

You already have an ls6 manifold which is good for 400rwhp before it becomes a restriction and from all the reading I have done they out perfrom the stock ls2 manifold, so unless you get the ls2 intake ported there is no reason to change IMO.

Not really worth the effort.

If anything port the LS2 or if you're serious about an inlet manifold swap hunt down an LS6 manifold.

Some people claim the LS6 are good for about 10hp over the LS1 inlet manifold?

The heads on the LS1 are the let down.

The intake that I have is only a 68ml so I am about to purchase a ported 90ml ls2 intake

ls6 manifold is OME on anything from vx on.

(304runner) I've heard the same but Im about to purchase a ls2 manifold ported to 90ml that's why I'm wondering if its just a simple bolt up or do I need to change things like pipes etc, and the heads are crap standard, got to change my lifters so at the same time I might as well upgrade throttle body, inlet manifold and possibly do something with the heads

OME= Original manufacture equipment. Anything that comes on the car from the factory.
