Purchased a new melling pump and plan on doing it myself.Any tricks or issues i should be aware of. Dont mind doing a bit myself saves cash for other things

Be careful not to pinch the O'ring that goes on the pump pick up tube when inserting it into the oil pump, because this can cause the pump to aerate and it will result in low oil pressure.
Make sure you use the correct O'ring for the style of pump pick up tube too, This info & 2 O'rings should come supplied with the new oil pump
