ls1 rocker cover change breather hose help

hello just after some advice i am about to change my rocker covers to aftermarket fabricated style ones and i noticed it does not have a fitting welded to them for the breather hose my car is a vz 5.7l and doing a bit of research it appears to have ls6 pcv set up (under the manifold)my passenger side rocker cover has a rubber block off over it now and my drivers side goes to my duspeed otr
would it cause any damage if i was to install the new rocker covers without the breather hose hooked up as new rocker cover dont allow that or should i just get some fitting welded up to them
i know alot of people run these rocker covers and just curious as to what they have done when they changed them

any help would be appreciated
