ls2 l76 upgrade fuel

hi i have a vl calais that was a 6cl before the l76 went in now i know that there is a intank pump and a External pump.
my question is i know i need to upgrade the pumps i have been told just to get rid of the External pump put a intank walbro 400lph or a walbro 255lph or should i leave the External pump and upgrade the intank pump any help would be good

in-tank 255 unless further mods down the track, with the bigger flow of the in-tank pump I don't think the external would help to much to be honest

nah I meant forced induction sorry should have stated, cam/heads will be fine on the 255
