Hey guys,

Can anyone with some knowledge chime in and let me know..

Are the factory extractors on the GTS w/ LSA motor 2.5" like the 340 RB extractors or just the normal 2 1/4" like the other clubsports?

Car is a series 1 GTS if it matters.

Hey guys,

Standard on an LSA are cast stainless steel log headers.

i believe they arnt the same design as the normal hsv ls3 headers, they arnt the tri y design, they look like the standard l98/l77 ones with different cats

I'll give them a miss in that case. Struggling to find any 340KW headers on ebay at the moment.

I'll give them a miss in that case. Struggling to find any 340KW headers on ebay at the moment.
There's nothing wrong with the 2 1/4" ones though. They're meant to be better, in the low to mid range.

I guess anything would be better than the factory fitted jobs. Just thinking if I'm going to go to the trouble of buying them and changing them out, may as well get the best possible without spending $$$ on expensive aftermarket parts.

Already have the 2.5" cat back, so will be adding the headers to create a full system. Planning on getting an OTR fitted and tune completed straight afterwards. Anyone know what power figures I could expect with the 2 1/4" units? I know guys are getting around 300RWKW with those mods and 2.5" headers, I wonder if the 2 1/4" would be close?

My VF Redline got ~260 with those mods. It was 205 stock.

i would suggest you would be looking around 285 on the ls3 depending on how happy your dyno was

i got just under 290rwkws with 1 3/4 long tube 4 into 1s and a 3 inch full exhaust including a otr, and its a manual, a 2.5 system with not ideal headers through a auto would see around 270rwkw.. unless its a happy dyno
