Thanks 426. Must have been series 1? I've got a series 2 car.
The raw numbers are as inaccurate as hell (the "300RWKW" people don't actually know what they're really putting out), the only thing you can use is the increase.
So what's important from 426Cuda's post is he got a ~45kw to ~65kW increase, which is pretty reasonable IMHO ... and I don't think these things have been improved on stock LS3 cars, so you'll probably see a similar increase. Don't make the mistake of comparing to the people claiming 300RWKW, because they don't actually know the real figure (and if they claim they do - they're either lying or the tuner is); use the bum-o-meter & feel the extra goodness!! [unless you want to pull the engine & stick it on an engine dyno, but I'd suggest that's overkill :)]

Yep, get both the before and after.

My series 1 ran 2015-210ish, and then 250 with full bolt ons

Yes it is. L77. So add another 35 or so for LS3. I have a set of 340 headers for my Motorsport. Not fitted yet though.

i would suggest you would be looking around 285 on the ls3 depending on how happy your dyno was
Spot on, my VF2 Redline made 284 with the 340 headers, 2.5" HSV section, OTR and tune.

I have a L77. It has a full HSV exhaust, extractors, cats, mid section and bi-modal mufflers (not the 340). Also with OTR (Orssom) and running on E85. I didn't have a dyno run stock, but before the tune it was 240rwkw and after tune It was 270.

Do the 340 headers fit around the MSE cooler? Strugging to sort fact from fiction regarding HSV headers that fit the LS3 engine oil cooler! You seem to have done the research.

They need to be modified to fit around the oil cooler.

I haven't fitted mine yet. I know someone who has though. Another member on here @Super Coach
They fit. But, there's only a mm or so gap. It would be quiet easy to grind another couple of mm gap at the flange.
