Whats the diff between MAF and MAP??
Also I have seen a few cars without a AFM, is this basically the same thing??

MAP adjusts fuel amounts depending on manifold pressure differences.
MAF adjusts fuel amounts depending on the amount of airflow going into the engine.

AFM= Air Flow Meter? maybe the same as MAF

Man, i have no idea
You would think that if holden started with a MAP on the V6 and scraped it for the MAF, the MAF would be better?
But then if you look at the MAF, it would be a little restrictive on air flow to the engine and if people claim extra power running a MAP on an engine stardard with a MAF, it makes you wonder.
Anyone know the answer???

I can't see how it would be a gain any power at all because with the Vs you have sequential injection producing more power and with the Vr ECU you would loose it.
