Hey just had my vy ss tuned, made 229rwkw, but funny thing is, when driving in town very easy fuel consumption is great, 10l/100km, but on the highway, it's worse sitting at 10-11l/100km. I have contacted the tuner and they are happy to check it all out but just wondering what your guys thoughts are?

Also if I'm at a set of lights and the gear selector is in 2, when at wot, it will change into 2nd at 3000rpm instead of revving out 1st

Mines manual but i get mid 13s around town and as low as high 8s country driving. Im a bit of a leadfoot around town though and 6th gear helps a lot with highway speeds.

Have you done diff gears or a stall?

Highway should always use less petrol then round town. It's the stopping and starting in traffic and lights that uses all the fuel.

surprising that constant stoping and starting is using more fuel then idling on the freeway.
in my car iv got a 3200 stall and 3.9 gears thats a different story it sits on about 2200 doing 100km on the freeway. lockup converter. around the city i get 350-450 from a tank witch i thinks ok and freeway 500-550 ussaly
