i dont see how you need this as i can hold gears with my box as it is i just dont as it ####ed my last commodore

i dont see how you need this as i can hold gears with my box as it is i just dont as it ####ed my last commodore

try holding it in first and taking off. it will change into second.

If youve tried to dyno a L67 $speed then you will understand.It has very hard to get a good plot from 80kmhr in 3rd with 3/4 throttle at least because it will kickback to second.This mods fixes that issue.One should only be carrying out this mod to for the dyno reason and nothing else.

normally just command it too stay in 3rd with the laptop for dyno runs then it wont shift also lock the TCC watch the HP rise :D

thats the one thing i quiete enjoy about the auto in a VE
it wants to stay in the gear you like without automatically shifting,
probably the only thing decent about it really

This is wired the same as the Transmission Manualiza plug that RVO and DTM transmissions are supplying for large amounts of money.

This transmission manualizing plug disables the Automatic gear change and allows the 4L60 transmission to be manually gear changed under full trans line pressure.
It will give a smooth manual gear change at low Revs/Power, and Hard as manual gear changes at High Revs/High Power.

1 x 4L60E transmission plug from a VR - VY Commodore loom. cut it off with between 100mm - 200mm of wire on it. $5.00
1 x IN5408 4 amp silicone rectifier diode. $1.00
4 X Stubbies of Harn light

Solder the yellow and light green wire on to the anode side of the diode and insulate.
Solder the yellow/black and Brown/yellow to the Cathode side of the Diode ( Side with the silver band).
supply 12volts from the ignition (reds) to the pink/blue wire to power the transmission.
Cut off remaining unused wires.

Has anyone got the wiring diagrams for this?

Im trying to make one for a vt gearbox and the wiring colors are different! There is no (solid yellow) wire or even a (brown /yellow)

I have 2 (yellow/black) wires coming off the plug and 3 different brown wires (solid brown, brown/white and brown/orange)

Are the wire colors different on vt compared to vr/vs?

How do you manualise the gears in an auto box for a vz v6 alloytech as we want to stay auto will this help
