Ok so I just got my GXP MALOO serviced and mechanic told me that one of the engine mount pops in and out and needs changing, he said when I take off I will feel it happen BUT what I can feel is the car (it's automatic) slip in and out of gear, it's embarrassing when I'm at a set of lights and I go to take off it revs then kicks into drive, is this because the engine mount? I don't think it is but the car has never done this before the service either.

Engine mount won't cause the transmission to slip.

Why wouldn't they just call you and asked if you wanted it replaced while it's there?
But then again if they frigged the transmission maybe they shouldn't be touching it!

What do you mean by engine bracket?
Is it the engine mount?
