The problem has started only after i have put 22" on the front and the 16" on the rear until the new wheel is fitted abd ever since the chance from 16" wheels all round the car seems to strugle under any form of heavy acceleration and shakes as if the engine is miss firing, I doubt it would be the gear box but what can I do :/

Consider replacing the original (standard) wheels to see if 'the problem' persists.

mismatched wheels-speed sensors will probably have a fit, but I'd go with Benboy ++11^^ and put the 16's back on and see what happens
