Max rear width of rim to fit vx commodore

Was just wondering what the max width of rim would fit on my v6 x police car, I know it has vx SS suspension (if that makes a difference) looking at trying to fit 20x9.5's on the rear, any feedback would be much appreciated.

i got 10's (rear) underneath my vt with the right offset and rolled guards and a bit of shaving

I saw a VY with elanor copies yesterday and they were the wrong offset lol stock height and stuck out an inch past the guards and looked farked. true story

If the rims are the right offset its possible as above.
