Mechanical or electrical?

Am wanting to mount 2 autometer gauges. An oil pressure and water temp. What's best suited to a L98 a mechanical or electrical?

For inside the cabin electrical is best, last thing you want is a line breaking and spraying hot oil or coolant inside the car.

canbus will be so much easier u wont have to run any wires to the engine or try to find spots for senders, all that data is already on the canbus ready to be read
