Missfire problem

My vt commodore 5 speed manual v6. When i put my foot down it goes all sluggish and missfires, i thought it would be the coil pack so i replaced it but it still continues to be sluggish and missfiring, my next guess would be the fuel filter ?? Has anyone got another idea ?

Another idea to consider.....
What you described above, happened to my friends 02 Nissan Patrol the other day.
Took one look under the bonnet and thought...."jeez, where do you start", as it's on gas as well.
I tightened and cleaned the battery terminals, as they were very loose and dirty
and hey presto.....runs like a dream.
(Or maybe I inadvertently knocked something back into place lol).
Anyway, I'll take the credit.

I forgot to mention that i brought new spark plugs and leads aswell. Ill try your battery trick and get a new fuel filter. I may even just buy a new battery.

Mine recently did this, i did an ecu reset and havent had a single issue yet.

Even got better fuel economy, (600 Ks to 40L on std unleaded) I have no mods what so ever.

fuel injector cleaner additive add to fuel tank,clean the iac with carby cleaner then put on new engine oil and put back in.if it makes a difference then replace it with new one,check 3 vacuum hoses on rear of motor.
