I think the longer factory version looks a bit more stylish maybe thats just me.... but i just don't like the fact that they're a simple screw in job

Both of them screw in..

If you really want a factory one, whack your beesting up on scumtree to swap for one. Guaranteed it'll be gone by dinner time..

That's the first time I've ever heard the cheap and nasty looking OEM aerial referred to as stylish.

Go the bee sting as the long OEM one starts to flick back and bash on the back windscreen at around 280km/h and that can become annoying for the rear seat passengers.
.

The Bee sting is also a great way to distinguish us enthusiasts from the rest. Haven’t seen another V6 Calais V with the bee sting except for mine. :p

You'll understand after you've had a few of those aerials stolen, you learn not to pussyfoot around.
You have aerial thieves chasing you who're only capable of doing 270?!

I live in a short street and it takes those V6's a little while to wind out.

Have a watch of this, 245 it starts to happen ;) Skip to about 3:35, or watch it all as it's an alright video :p

Good stuff, it was the memory of that review that inspired my comment, I just couldn't remember at what speed it started to happen.
