My old VP is playing up It started to miss today, I took the leads off the coils and 2-5 seemed dead
Took the coil off and no voltage on the 2 pins, gave the plug a good wriggle and it came back, put the coil back and still a weak spark
So it looks like a coil but really I want to know how to get the plug off the module, and clean it up. I was a bit scared to pull it too hard, is there a trick or does it just pull out

You mean the lead off the coil pack? Just wiggle it a bit and pull it, it may be a bit fused on if it's been on for a while.

the plug on the DFI module is held in with a bolt and will need to unscrew to get the plug out.

thanks for that , took it off, the bolt was only finger tight, and not done up, no wonder the plug was floppy, but still weak spark at the coil, so its a trip to the wreckers tomorrow
