Modding Radiator Shroud for OTR LS1?

Hey guys,

Since Im too poor for a duspeed otr for that OEM look. I thought Id give modding the Radiator shroud to suit the otr I have to give it a more factory look.
Something like this.

this is an old picture of my bay,

Gotta get my hands on some split engine covers.

Anyone had success cutting up the stock shroud? post a pic? anyone have a spare shroud they dont want that i could buy/have/borrow

Anyone other engine bay ideas welcome :)

I've never done it but I'd just use a jig saw and go wild. You will need to cover the edge as shown in the photo because you won't get a good finish on the cut. Get one from the wreckers.

exactly my thoughts, prob use a hacksaw or something not as brutal as a jigsaw though.

I thought Id start at the wreckers for a shroud. But considering the amount of people with otr's i thought someones bound to have one in the shed.

Didn't even think of a dremel. Good idea.

Wazza yours isnt bad at all. The edge finishing on thw photo I posted would make it look tops imo.
