Monaro tail lights vt garnish.

Howdy just put some nice monaro tail lights in my vt ss..
Looks funny with the red refletor garnish there .!
Wondering can
i get away with painting it .Or am i better of getting stock one ?
Anyone got any suggestion please

painting over a plastic reflector part of the garnish > cant be plastic attacking acrylic lacquer paint ........what colour ?

whats the bet it would be called a defect in some states

Why would you even put the lights in with the garnish still on? It's the stupidest looking thing that can be done to a commodore, it's even worse that a huge wing on the back.
Don't paint it.
Just get a blank one & it will look sweet.

VX had the body colour garnish. Find one of those in your colour and your set.

Get a vx boot lid

There's a VT getting around near where I live.
It has the garnish painted, with the reverse lights showing through the paint.
Looks a bit odd if you ask me.

If you don't care about covering the boot's key hole, get the VX garnish like I did on my VT.....
