Yeah I must admit, I've met a few Holden guys & girls over the years that were way too sensitive
But don't interpret or mistake the butthurt of a couple of forum members as a true representation of all other Holden enthusiasts

Ha ha, that vid is so funny , also different peoples take on coments.
If I live to be 90 , that's one bonus, if I'm still driving then that's two, if I'm enjoying driving in a spirited manor that's three and too inspire others happy too have a photo of me with a smile from ear to ear.
That's my take on it .
I know my mum's wishes are I'm happy in my life and that i out live her
She would want me to do what I enjoy and be happy.
And as OP said his mum was a rev head which has obviously rubed off on him , so they shared a common passion which is obviously vechices not one brand.

thank's fellas , mum grew up on a dirt road farm and when it rained she was 12 and learnt how to control a car going slideways ,my dad was also a hoon, my dads cousin built lakeside raceway near Brisbane where I saw peter brock race in the 70's

I'm thinking that your nan was 12 years old way back in 1940, so driving anything safely back then took some skill. Not only were the roads 90%,dirt, the cars were 90% unsafe and probably at least 20 year old heaps. Sideways in a clapped out Model T would have been interesting.

One bit of information that you guys may have overlooked is that if this guys mum was 90(God Bless Her) then this guy is at least 60 but writes like he's 17

yeah just turned 59 , mum learnt in roadster she was looking between though the steering wheel and top of the dash and a neighbor could not see any one driving
just her dad in the passenger seat, her brother when he went for his lisence was told i.ve nown you've be driving for years , no need for a driving test
