you should be right with 60/65 series sidewall but you will be scrapping strut bottom curved spring perch with any 70 series tyres.

also taller springs have nothing to do with fit of tyres
With Adventra struts and bigger springs they don’t.

I've run 25.7" tall tyres for about a decade now. 245 wide at the moment
Stock is 25.3" tall.
I've run taller on the back (26") but that won't help you (irs sedan vs live ute)

Well. Why not?
I’ll tell me why not because I didn’t read the subforum. I swear it was in VT-VX but clearly not.

However there’s not too much different between VT and VS struts. (He says because I have made a tool of myself). If VT can be adapted to fit VS, then VY or VZ Adventra could.

Oh. Would you look at that. Is that the time? Well. I’ll be off then.

Ute VS
Ive had 255/60/15 on 15x7 chasers with reasonably low springs...on stock diff top of sidewall was in lime with outside of wheelarch.

Ute is now split tubbed and eventually get 40mm shorter vl diff...sidewall will have 10mm maybe tad more clearance to control arm lip so also need Muscle Garage brace welded in if want to trim lip for more clearance.

Reckon 215/70/15 will be fine on 15x6 as that's also 27" tall and much narrower sidewall.

My ute has shite ton of mods but nobody picks it just looks like plain white ute on chasers that has been lowered.
hmmmm...

Ok... so you have 255/60R15 Tyres on your Ute with it lowered .that 27 inches tall. The 215/70R15 Tyres would ne 26.9 inches tall and I have raising springs. If that worked ok for you then I should have no trouble at all. Thanks for that info, it very much helps me to make a decision!

Cheers!

You said King Springs.
Did you also look consider the idea of the old "country pack" Suspension.

I'll find the pics, but as a comparison I used to and still can fit 2x Coke cans under the front bumper.
It was taller than standard suspension.

I had a VN Berlina with that set up.

VT struts can be used. The strut top has to be swapped to VS strut top.

I feel that if you hit the first rut with enough velocity then the following ruts shouldn't be a issue? :)

The standard ute suspension was higher, pretty much the same as country pack for sedan/wagon.
