more Mang for your buck?

its definatly not cheaper to buy an LS1 powered VX Acclaim wagon, maybe a tired old VT2 wagon thats been abused and they never made an L67 wagon
and spending $3k on a $3k car is still a cheap car really, if i keep it for another 5 years depreciation will be bugger all
plus my car has everything replaced so new brakes, suspension, tyres, trim, and its black which took me along time to find
might steer clear of a V8 though as the budget ones are the oil burning VT engines so might look out for a complete VY L67, wreckers sell them for about $1500 with 3 month warranty but not many about, if i can get the exhaust thrown in that a cheap conversion (good mang for your buck you might say)

You can find a whole written off VX-VY for about that or even less. A mate over hear buys them often.

If I really wanted to beat a V8 with something smaller, I will put the money into a smaller capacity engine & do so.

If you have a hate for holden V6 engine, I suggest you stay out of the V6 area of this forum.
