Take one VE SSV, a very hefty cheque book and add a whole lot of workshop time... Owner plans on it being streetable too!!!   This is the custom bonnet it's getting... (ps. I want one!)
ok besides the fact that is one absolutly **** hot crazy car and i am now in love with it... exactly what part about it is streetable??????
lol Just what the dude said when he posted it on LS1... Said he was building a VE for street and strip use. Either way, I don't care... It's the best VE I've ever seen!
That is friggin awesome. I can't say that it's gunna be easy to drive on the street. I can just imagine the defect sticker now, what was it defected for? Where do I start. LOL.
When i saw it, i was thinking, what a waste being in SA, without a track, unless he's planning on running it interstate. Either way, tuff build, no-where near anything streetable tho.
That thing is insane...but how would it be street legal with everything he's done, including hacking the chassis and all? It'd have to be engineered for sure...
NOT street legal in SA, end of story! Any cop who pulls that over on the road would just lick his lips at the big arse kissing effect it will have with his boss.
Thats what I was thinking...once you start hacking away at the chassis, thats it, right? Oh well, i wish him the best of luck.
Well for starters the cage is illegal, no back seats (when rego'd as a 5 seater car) Tubs are the killer tho
Faaaaaaaaaark! That is insane!!! street legal or not, that is one serious bit of work! Love to know how it runs against...well ..anything!!
If i was a cop, i would just hand him a blank book and let him fill it out himself lol Thats gotta be ATLEAST a $60000 motor
you know i have to agree... This is a crazy car... its just hot, no two ways about it... but, i donno... seems like so much money for something that will ONLY ever see tracks... Youd have to love drags. Still, its an amazing machine... some ones really put in the wrench time.. aZk.
yeah, sum1 has wayyyy too much money. its unique tho, so i suppose that warrants the price tag a little
what difference does it make if it is a VE... or a 57 Chev.... it's only a waste of money (a) if you don't have the money to do it and (b) if you don't get any enjoyment out of it. was on a street machine cruise the other night and a 57 coupe that was just as radical turned up... it was so tough... black with flames. Go to Google Images and type in Ted Krolo and you'll see it. It was running a 540ci big block with a GM871 blower. Now THAT is a tough engine.
Regardless of the fact that its a waste of money, I still think its absolutely mental...not to mention that from the outside, apart from the bonnet and a few other things, it almost still looks stock...he's going to scare the **** out of a few people for sure!
