- VX Series II "Lumina"
Hello and greetings all,
This is my 2002 VX Series II Lumina. The engine has done 107059 Kms and the car is 100% stock and runs like new.
The first thing I did after attaining the car was to have installed a towbar, new seat covers and a decent AV system.
The towbar is a Hayman Reece 1600 kg. The protective sleeve on the towball has alredy been split and scuffed. Did someone run into me? Bad luck for their front end.
I was lucky to find the seat covers the local Autobarn. They are custom fit to accomodate the split rear seat.
After a flat battery and having Holden service telling me that it would cost $25 to get the code for the stock Eurovox head unit, I walked away and invested in a new system.
Make: Holden
Model: 2002 VX Series II "Lumina"
Mileage: 107059 Km
Engine: Stock V6, 3.8 L
Transmission: Auto
Exterior: Silver
Wheels: Stock
Accessories: Hayman Reece Towbar
Interior: Stock
AV:
Head unit: Kenwood DNX5350BT
Amplifiers: Vibe Slick Stereo 4 Class D 4 Channel 800W, Vibe Slick Bass 1 Class D 1200W
Speakers:
Front: Vibe Slick 6C 270W
Rear: Vibe Slick 6 240W
Parcel Shelf: Vibe Slick 693 480W
Subs: 2 x 10" Vibe Slick 10 1050W
Plans:
I am going to keep the car stock for a while. Possible future changes would be a supercharger and exhaust mod, wheel, brake and suspension changes, a deeper window tint, a paint touch-up and debadge. But for now, mumsvx is happy being stock and straight.
Does anyone in Commodore County have advice on a CAI and catbacks? After reading opinions/reviews it seems like a Mace CAI and Rhino catbacks may yield a good KW increase. But I'm no pro. Any feedback is appreciated, Thanks, Chris.
