Oh yeah, also scored some free Calais seats with no tears or rips.

This. You lucky bastard. Im thinking about getting some calais seats but the probable dealbreaker is the fact that theres a few superglue drips on the rear bench and the sunfading at the top of the headrests. It just takes the shine away from the velour, its not actually damaged. $150 hes asking,, im still umming and ahhhing

Theyre in dire need of a steam clean too. Butttt theyre just too comfy to not have..

That woodgrain strip looks killer. Whats that from? I wouldnt mind having one but in piano black

The drivers one has the SMALLEST hole in it but not noticable.

Yeah, i wasn't sure on the Calais seats but they are very comfortable and make long drives much more enjoyable than the Executive ones did.

The woodgrain Glovebox and Fusebox lid is out a VS Calais man

Small update.

My lid arrived. I have spoken to a local upholster who will cover it in black leather with double white stitching for me, undecided if i want the Statesman logo in it yet.

Sadly my normal lid bracket doesn't line up (old owner took the bottom of the lid off) so i will have to drill into mine at some point. But for now it is in with a interior plug holding it in place.

Also bought some 303 Aerospace Protectant and although expensive, it made a HUGE difference over any other product i have ever used.


I first tried it on the door inserts to give it some shine

Small update:

1st - Noticed lately in overdrive the car seems to die and become sluggish until taken out of over drive, but had the kick down cable adjusted the other night it goes MUCH better!!!!

2nd- Was over Jamie (v6nutz_2012 on the forum) house and he was in the process of removing his tow bar tongue. Seeing as i don't use mine i took mine off, makes the back look cleaner , but more wide too.
