So last night I drove 200+ km's to pick up my first V8.

It is a 2000 VT SS 5.7 in Phantom Mica with 141,XXX on the clock.
4 Speed Auto
Monaro Headlights
Black Altezza Monaro style tail lights
Painted garnish
Chrome grills
3 1/2" Twin Cat-Back Exhaust
Slightly lowered (not sure what springs/shocks etc.)
Clarion Head unit

Due to the mass amounts of rain last night, I was stuck on the freeway in some spot for 1 1/2 hours, so it took me about 3-4 hours to get home.

It did just under a 1/3 of a tank from Paynesville to Warragul (a tad over 200kms). But I was very soft on the pedal due to the shitty weather.

Keep tuned in the next couple of days and I will get pics up.

From what I have driven of her so far, farrk she has more power than my 6.

Anyways, just thought I'd let everyone know my exciting news :)

I might even take her out for a spin at the Fountain Gate meet this week.
Hopefully I can get around to putting my 19" Eleanors on :)
