Great to hear the cruiser is on the road, she is looking good, the old carbies are a PITA, mine is dual fuel and won't run petrol, i know the feels about taking her off the road again so soon, but it would probably be better (and cheaper) to get it all fixed asap

yeah but it needs to be done, it doesn't sound to healthy and is pissing thru fuel more then it should

Yeah leaky piston rings will cause that, plus if the oil drops quickly you can cause a huge amount of wear on the engine

the motor is not leaking as much as it was before, maybe that additive i put in it a couple months ago has finaly kicked in, anyway i will be doing the rings and bearings next week



it has been raining lately so i thought it would be a good time to get muddy

my tow ball keeps getting caught and my bull bar acts as a shovel but other then that it did very well even with the **** tires it has on it
i have a video but its on my mates phone, if i get it ill post it up

got the rings bearings and gaskets so next weekend ill start.
went 4wding again today, and a bit to muddy and got bogged heaps of times, but did ok for road tyres. i think some mud tyres are on the list

went to the wreckers and got front bucket seats from a n14 pulser $50 ea
and since im getting rid of that annoying useless passenger bench seat i can fit a centre console in there now, so i also got a pajero centre console for $30 WITH CUP HOLDERS!!!! im driving in luxury now :cool:

Oooh cup holders....noice! Can you throw up details on fitting the center console when your done? I'm keen to see how easy it would be to put in my cruiser
