Picked this car up for $1000 6 months ago, not bad for a first car, just needed a bit of a fix here and there

Name: Justin

Model: 2002 Vy Commodore S pack

Engine: Stock 3.8 litre v6

Exhaust: Stock all the way to the catback, then Redback 2.5

Gearbox: 5 speed manual

Wheels: 18" SSZ's *

Interior: Stock with new steering wheel (leather one was worn)

Suspension: FE2

Exterior: SS tail lights, LED numberplate lights

Stereo:

Headunit- Jvc double din with vy fascia

Amp- Option audio 5 channel 4x90WRMS +1x500WRMS

Sub- Option Audio 12" 1000w

Speakers- 2 180w 6" 3 way coaxial's in the back
2 180w 6" component speakers with tweeters

Future mods- Take the wing off, SS headlights, foglights, Debadge, maybe lower

yeah id like to drop it, but i would have to wait till i move out, because i live on a dirt road and driving it everyday would be a pain haha

Looks good mate, +1 lowering, don't need to drop it on it's guts but get it to a sexier height cos it's just that bit too high right now, also your wheels are SSZ's not VZ SS's, there is a difference lol...but the SSZ's are much nicer than the standard SS's anyway so...bonus! a

Also did I read that right....$1,000? ...are you freakin kidding me? lol not 10k?...these things are worth a fair bit still...family friend or parent hand-me-down?

Well then you sir got lucky and will have no excuse to not put 10k worth of mods into it since you saved so much money lol

I'm also guessing your friend went and bought a 30k+ car and hooked you up....same thing happened to me with my second car, scored a car worth 8-9k for 3k...sometimes having friends that are sh** with money is awesome lol.

yeah pretty much what happened haha
km's are pretty average , was at 240 xxx when i got it, but hey for a grand im not complaining, still runs well

Yeah k's are pretty damn high but like you said for 1k it's an absolute steal...be struggling to get a VK-VP for that much let alone one that runs...plus all the audio.
