I have a new daily drive! Gotta save the K's on the CV8.
Year: 1983
Make: Subaru
Model: Sherpa (Series 2, Super Deluxe)
Colour: Gold
Engine: EK42 665cc 2 Cyl inline OHC
Transmission: 4Spd manual
Drive Type: Front Wheel Drive
Accessories: Cigarette Lighter, Ashtray, Parcel Tray, Luggage Bar, Road-Runner Pin Stripes (legit!) AM/FM Pushbutton Radio
Mods: Aftermarket Intermittant Wiper Relay (Other than that she's totally stock!)
Top Speed: 125 Km/h
Purchase Price: ... wait for it... $250.00 !!!! OMG!
This beauty is so much fun to zip around in. I take it to the train station every day. Gets to 100km/h (eventually) and just hums along. Gets less than 6l/100kms from its massive 20 litre tank!
I've only got one photo at the moment, and it's a dodgy phone pic taken at night. I promise I'll get better photos up soon because I know you're all dying to see them!
Planned Mods: Repaint stock wheels, install speakers to run directly off iPhone (already tested and works fine), possibly install a RBH31 turbo or AMR300 supercharger... seriously.
