Start building up a Turbo engine now, and when you're ready to get off your P's throw it in...

They are a nice car to drive, they sound great too!

Although atm it does keep up and just pass ve r8's believe it or not, not me boasting about the car or anything

Agreed.

If that was the deciding factor, I'd of waited until you were off your [P]'s so you could get a car to enjoy for years to come.

It is not financially viable to boost a non turbo car due to the issues you run into.

You can but a 2jzgte with wiring loom and Ecu and straight swap it in.

What financially decimating issues can you run into doing that?

N/A supra - 112kw per ton
VE R8 - 178kw per ton

N/A supra - 191Nm per ton
VE R8 - 309Nm per ton (max torque is at a lower RPM on the R8 as well)

N/A supra - Not sure, turbo is 4.6 with almost double the torque so I am guessing a lot slower.
VE R8 - 0-100km/h: 4.9 seconds

N/A supra - Not sure, turbo is a low 13 with almost double the torque so I am guessing a lot slower.
VE R8 - Seen plenty of stock ones out at the track running mid to lowish 13's stock.

Have you ever thought they are not racing, rather finding it hard to drive with tears running down their faces with laughter?
