hi there im new to this site and new to rebuilding cars all together.
i have a vc commodore that i bought for $1000 and is running ok, i bought it as a project car and it certainly has served it purpose, iv spent the last few months on removing rust and im slowly getting towards doing some work on the motor, i want this car to be louder and faster it has a 3.3lt blue v6 in it btw. how do i go about getting it to this state. does getting it bored help? or can i just get the extractors and exhaust with a holley 350 carby for it, as mentioned im new to the whole rebuilding and what not so PLEASE HELP!!!

First up its no a v6 it's a straight 6. Next up getting it bored means an engine rebuild not just bolting on extractors, so a big difference in chat and effort..
Third up loud isn't always good for power or happiness!

Not digging at ya bud just helping u learn:) give it all a big service and a "sport exhaust" to get you started if you'd like and go from their?

Basically "drilling" out the calender holes bigger... Usually 10-40 thousands of a millimeter.

That's the basic explanation anyway..
