Hi hsv-cv,

My opinion is that you have spent heaps on your car and it looks great. :) there would be a lot of people who would wish they could have those parts on there cars.

It's different and I like it

This looks pretty good. You've done a good job on it.
Nice to see something different done right.

Thanks guys. I only posted pics to show people what I did, if people don't like it that's cool, if they do then that's cool to. Nearly every commodore before the ve has been changed in one way or another, but as soon as you put a bodykit and badge on a ve a small minority take offence. Quite funny really. Wheels coming off tomorrow and going up for sale, pentagons going on with new bridgestone potenzas. Just coz I like copying lol.

I don't consider myself part of "the pack" here at all, yet I still think it's try-hard that the OP is trying to make his car look like something it's not, and I'm entitled to say something if he posts it up on a public forum.... just like he's entitled to do whatever he wants to his car.

It's all good, I don't know why people get so worked up...

I respect your opinion Davey g-force, and you are rite, I was trying to make it look like something that it isn't, hence why I put a hsv kit on it. Just like chicks get boob jobs to look better. Yes I know it's fake but still looks good. ;)

Good analogy.

That's all good but it doesn't need the badge to still look good. That's the clincher for me. I mean chicks with boob jobs don't have a badge on them saying "DuPont D-Cup".

Again, just my opinion - do what you like but you're gonna get comments.

Haha yes fair point. I may consider de badging the rear end see what it looks like maybe. I've seen genuine ve clubby de badged and tbh I liked it. Remember this is the missus car so she gets final call. She's happy with it so happy wife happy life as they say.
