hi all been checking out the forum for a couple of weeks thought i would introduce myself. i swapped one of my bikes for this vh a couple of weeks ago so i can go on some events, powercruise,drags, hillclimbs etc with my sons. it is 83 vh vxss ls1 and 6 speed. got some work done to the engine. goes well. 10 bolt diff full spool. custom extractors. i like it because other than the big pipe hanging out the back no one will know its not stock. i put some vx spac 16 inch rims on it for the street and the 16x7 ve chasers for driving events. i have some nice 18s off our vx clubby in the shed but i dont like the look of big wheels on old school cars.

very nice car ya got there ... heaps of potential.... very serprised to see a 10 bolt diff in the ass end i wouldnt think they would handle it.

got it regoed today. i think the trailing arm bushes need replacing and top arms need to be changed to box type. when i accellerate hard then back off it wants to go to the left.

weighed it for rego 1280kg. its fun im sure stock with 6cyl was 1276kg and sle which i assume was v8 was 1378kg or there abouts. its lighter than i thought it would be.

couple hundred kilos lighter than my Monaro - should get up and boogie.
