now, go get yourself a hammer and dolly set and start hammering out those wheel arches.

doesnt take much effort to get it looking like this. just need to take your time. wire wheel off the entire bay. every trace of old paint gets zipped. the mark out all the holes you need and the ones you dont need. weld up the holes, tap out the dents, fill bog where you need to but try not to use too much. then plenty of hi-fill, then plenty of sanding, then plenty of colour/clear.

the days where you step back and look at bays like that make it all worthwhile.

thanks ari, i brought a hammer and dolly set today and got to work and made it worst but ill shape it best i can and hopefully i can get the bog on tomorrow. i also got some Septone metal tech filler to fill the holes. Im trying to get the 253 running to sell it, just need a new fuel inlet for the carby and hopefully it will run, then im not sure whether to put the money towards the 202 or paint

i don't know how the previus owner put this dent in it

@ ari

i haven't done much yet, ive been using a drill with a wire wheel since i dont want to piss off the neighbours. but ive had enough of the drill so ill use the grinder tomorow. when im finished getting all the paint off what did you want me to do then ? do you want me to prime it or something ?
