I picked this up this afternoon.
2003 VY SS series 2
LS1 Auto
4 into 1 X-force extractors, 100cpi cats into single 3" system, K&N panel filter.
179,000kms
Quicksilver w/Black leather
Dark tint
Climate control
Kenwood DVD/Bluetooth head unit and Focal speakers.

Future mods:
Cam, OTR, Mafless tune and upgrade fuel/ignition/exhaust systems
Shift kit from Summit Racing, 3500 stall
Tru Trac 3.45:1 LSD
More low with coil overs
New wheels, remove spoiler.

Really happy with this pick up, it's extremely tidy and mostly un-molested, front bar will need a respray due to stone chips and tagging a gutter, other than that it's awesome, interior is immaculate apart from some very minor wear on the steering wheel and drivers seat side bolster.
The plan is to just turn it into a staunch daily driver.
Any advice to compliment my list of future mods on how to get to my goal of 300rwkw N/A is welcome.

Ditch that shitty restrictive exhaust as soon as possible.
With a CAM etc 300 is very realistic. Car looks nice, drive it hard.

A dual 2.5" is the minimum on an LS1. Usually the older singles were 2 into 3.5" single but no one who makes decent power uses a single exhaust that I know of.

I want extractors with larger primary's too, 2.5" duels is the plan. I would ask what brand I should go with but I have a feeling that the only answers I'll get will be Manta haha.
What sort of lift/duration cam would be good for the power I aim to get out of it?

I got 1 7/8" primary 4-1 extractors. They look chunky next to a set of 1 3/4". I've got a manta on my car, 2.5" twin, and it does well. It's deep and not shouty and raspy. A mate of mine has 1 3/4" extractors and an X-force 2.5" dual system on his VY, and it gets a higher pitch than mine.

His car has a 234/236 cam and makes 297rwkw on a very crap tune, black fuel smoke everywhere.

And a very sweet looking car too mate, silver and black leather is the same combo as mine.
