only in the ve, the ute is still vz series and holden in there wisdom didnt up the power to suit

nice ride, the height is fine for a ute, its got to be practical cause otherwise you couldnt carry crap!!

true. at the end of the day its my daily driver and as is there is only a few mm to spare at the supermarket and stores with those bloody concrete barriers they put there b4 the gutter, and the ride quality is about as good as its going to get cosidering all the crap i carry sometimes. after 500kms on the clock i think audio will be the next move

They were 172kw the high output SV6 VZ's were 190kw....
have they bumped them up since the release of the VE ??

i dont find the v6 as asmatic as most reports say , well in the car mags any, sure the ss has nearly triple the hp then the ute, but alot of that is mid/top end. I got the v6 to be a daily driver and it was never ment to replace to ss, as a daily driver i think its great otherwise i would have bought a maloo with the ls2 for performance. im eagerly awaiting the tuning software to be released and take it rom there

the stereo has just been started on

a alpine 2din dvd headunit, hooked up to the steering wheel controls aswell.

not the cheapest head unit out there but definately 1 of the best.
